MY STORY

I am a British contemporary wildlife artist and sculptor whose work explores presence, perception, and our evolving understanding of animal consciousness. Working across paper, bronze, and layered patinas, I create sculptures that balance realism with loose, atmospheric form and material.

Best known for paper patina sculptures and contemporary wildlife bronzes, the work balances inward reflections on animal intelligence, presence, and perception with more outward celebrations of the beauty, fragility, and extraordinary complexity of the natural world.  Inspired by direct encounters with wildlife and informed by behavioural observation, anatomy, and conservation, I seek to capture more than physical likeness, exploring the tension between strength and vulnerability, awareness, and instinct.

Often described as appearing “cut from the wild itself,” the paper sculptures celebrate the fragility, beauty, and extraordinary detail found within nature, evoking wonder both through the wildlife they portray and the delicacy of the material itself. Alongside these works, I also explore a quieter fascination with animal intelligence, presence, and the unspoken question of what may exist behind a gaze or expression.

The wild has a language of its own, and through sculpture, I aim to let it speak.

I support and collaborate with wildlife conservation organisations to help raise awareness and funds for threatened species, believing that the emotional connection we feel toward wildlife is inseparable from the responsibility to protect it.

This is wildlife art where the wild lives on…
