Entirely nocturnal, barn owls possess specially adapted wing feathers that allow them to fly without a sound, making them near-invisible hunters of the night. Their ghostly presence and silent movement have captured imaginations for centuries.

In Celtic and Druidic traditions, barn owls were revered as Guardians of the Underworld, seers, and oracles able to pass between the worlds of the living and the dead.
