Rarely seen, the kingfisher is a fleeting presence along riverbanks. A sudden flash of blue, which I am always drawn to, is gone as quickly as it appears. What seems effortless is an instinctive act of precision. Threshold explores this delicate balance. The bird’s gaze is fixed downward, its form drawn toward a single, inevitable point.
