Wonder explores a quiet stage of discovery through the gaze of a young mountain gorilla, capturing a moment where awareness, playfulness, and possibility exist in equal measure. Great apes possess remarkable intelligence, emotional depth, and complex social lives, qualities that often feel strikingly familiar. At a time when mountain gorillas represent a fragile conservation success, Wonder celebrates not only the survival of a species, but the value of protecting lives that continue to challenge, enrich, and broaden our understanding of the natural world.
